EMA 200 Screener

What is the EMA 200 Screener?

This screener tracks each F&O stock's Exponential Moving Average over the last 200 candles on your chosen intraday timeframe — 5-min, 15-min or 1-hour — and compares it against the live price. Shorter timeframes react to trend shifts faster than a daily EMA200 screener; longer intraday timeframes filter out more noise.

• Distance %: How far the current price is from the EMA200, as a percentage — positive means price is above, negative means below.
• Position: Whether price is currently trading above or below its EMA200 on the selected timeframe.
• Previous Crossover: The most recent time price crossed from one side of the EMA200 to the other, and in which direction — bullish (crossed above) or bearish (crossed below).

How crossovers are detected

The EMA200 is maintained continuously: every new candle updates it using the standard EMA recurrence. Whenever the closing price flips from below to above the EMA200 (or vice versa), that candle's timestamp and direction are recorded as the "previous crossover" — so the screener always shows the most recent flip, even if it happened weeks ago.
