How zones are calculated
  • Buyer's Zone — lower Bollinger Band (20-day SMA − 2σ) ± 0.9% buffer. LTP inside this range = In Buy Zone; within 5% above = Near Buy.
  • Seller's Zone — upper Bollinger Band (20-day SMA + 2σ) ± 0.9% buffer. LTP inside this range = In Sell Zone; within 5% below = Near Sell.
  • Gap % — distance of LTP from the nearest zone edge as % of LTP. Negative values mean LTP is already inside the zone.
  • Position bar — shows where LTP sits between the buyer_high and seller_low levels (0% = at buy zone edge, 100% = at sell zone edge).

Institutional Buying and Selling Zones are price levels where large institutional investors — mutual funds, FIIs, DIIs — are likely to accumulate or distribute positions. This tool uses Bollinger Bands (20-day SMA ± 2σ) on Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty constituents to identify these zones in real time.
