2. E* – SGX QUEST (T+1) Settlement next day. The trading time is Monday to Friday, from 7:15 pm to 1:00 am (which means 4:45 pm to 10:30 pm IST).
The above two trading contracts are different from each other with different settlement periods. These two allow traders across the globe to trade in SGX whether the market is open or closed. Through SGX Nifty, FII invests in Indian future contracts where the SGX starts at 9:00 AM in Singapore ie., 6:30 AM in Indian Standard Time.
Indian residents are not permitted to trade in SGX NIFTY Futures. People who have the foreign portfolio, NRI Indians, and other investors are enabled to trade in the SGX Nifty 50 Index.
